Established in 1909, GDC/City Wire Cloth specializes in weaving, distribution, and fabrication of a comprehensive line of wire cloth.

We offer custom weaving capabilities up to 9 .5 ft. wide in square mesh, diamond mesh, and clear openings. Our weaving range is from 4 inch openings with a .250 inch wire diameter to 12 mesh with a .028 inch wire diameter.

GDC/City Wire Cloth offers a large inventory of wire cloth available from stock in addition to our weaving capabilities. Market grades, bolting cloth, strainer grades and micronic filter cloth with 2 micron nominal retention are standard.

For customer requirements, many wire specifications are available in various metals such as stainless steel, brass aluminum, copper, bronze, titanium, nickel, monel, and inconel.

Fabrication services such as cutting to size, splitting, circle cutting, blanking and stamping are available with quick turn around times. Forming, welding, degreasing, heat treating, calendering, and special coatings are provided upon request. Our goal is to supply our customers with quality finished products on time, every time.
